Just got off the phone from Zoe, one of our newest clients and to say she was excited is a bit tame.
Here's the story; Zoe hires chocolate and champagne fountains for special events. She was looking on google for bridal fayres in Ipswich so typed in bridal fayre ipswich and guess what, her website is already ranked number 3 and 4 for this keyword.
The great thing is, her site only went live a week ago. But the best thing abo
ut all this is, I didn't have anything to do with it. You see, she created the article that appears in these results herself without any knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation.
My point is...
You know your business better than anyone else. By giving Zoe a content management system which let's her easily create great and interesting content around her business niche, which then gives it to the search engines in a way they want it, creates great results.
As she offers more and more of her knowledge regarding her business in the form of intersting content, she will naturally be giving the search engines all the keywords they need to rank her pages well. Do enough of this and you can build yourself rivers of consistent, free traffic.
