I've must apologise to you for sending you mad with my videos
- By Big JAC
- Published 28/02/2008
I've been making short videos for some time but never been able to achieve the amazing results some others have with the same software.
...I thought I'd better check the software's recommended settings and realised I'd been trying to build a palace with a bucket and spade.
So, after spending too much on a replacement computer, which has the power needed, I'm happy to tell you I won't be shouting through your speakers anymore in unintelligible grunts or subjecting you to videos so jittery they can send you mad.
Now you should be able to decipher my ramblings, take a look.

JACpro has just gone up in price

For the last few months we've been offering JACpro for the introductory price of £397.00 but as of today the price has climbed to £597.00.
Clients are getting such great results with the product and training so we decided we'd rather sell fewer products and spend more time helping customers get the success they deserve.
For instance, Zoe who runs a chocolate fountain hire company in Ipswich has been using JACpro since the 26th November 2007 and confirms she's had over £2,000 in orders because of the system we put in place for her. She literally had the product paid for in the first month - Not a bad return on her investment.
Alan who runs a videography company in Ipswich has just started with JACpro and, in less than 1 week, already commands some significant first page positions in Google for profitable terms relating to his business.
Dominic James estate agents in Ipswich have been using the system the longest and over 50% of their site traffic now comes directly from Google every month, making sure they are ahead of the competition.
But this is just a by-product of the JACpro system - What all of these people have told me is the biggest benefit is they are all IN CONTROL of their web business and not at the beck and call of their web designer.
Because the success is becoming quite evident we will probably set a limit on the number of clients we work with in the near future to make sure their web sites are not a 'must have drain' on their resources but a serious contributor to their bottom lines.

Top rankings for client at Google in just over a week

Just got off the phone from Zoe, one of our newest clients and to say she was excited is a bit tame.
Here's the story; Zoe hires chocolate and champagne fountains for special events. She was looking on google for bridal fayres in Ipswich so typed in bridal fayre ipswich and guess what, her website is already ranked number 3 and 4 for this keyword.

The great thing is, her site only went live a week ago. But the best thing about all this is, I didn't have anything to do with it. You see, she created the article that appears in these results herself without any knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation.
My point is...
You know your business better than anyone else. By giving Zoe a content management system which let's her easily create great and interesting content around her business niche, which then gives it to the search engines in a way they want it, creates great results.
As she offers more and more of her knowledge regarding her business in the form of intersting content, she will naturally be giving the search engines all the keywords they need to rank her pages well. Do enough of this and you can build yourself rivers of consistent, free traffic.

I've just finished reading "A beginners guide to search engine optimisation" by Rand Fishkin from SEOmoz.org. Although written in 2005 and updated in Feb' 2006 it really does teach you the hardcore basics of SEO and is still very relevant.
It also goes to show that in search the core basics are all that's needed to begin making your mark on the search engines. This free 30 page report leads you by the hand in plain English from what SEO is through keyword strategy and research, website usability and building a traffic-worthy site. He even gives away ideas for really great content like:
Obviously there's a marketing angle with this report, SEOmoz.org is a professional Search Engine Optimisation company, so he wants you to use his services. If only I had the money...
